Alex Brown & Family
Alex Brown was baptized into Christ in October of 1994, at the Central Ave church of Christ in Fairborn, OH, by the late DC Lawrence. Alex holds an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Ohio Valley College, an A.A.S. in Nursing from Tulsa Community College and a B.S. in Ministry and Bible from Amridge University. Aside from preaching, Alex works as a Registered Nurse and Nationally Registered Paramedic. Alex has preached for congregations in Maine, New Hampshire, South Dakota and Oklahoma and has conducted multiple Gospel Meetings, lectureships and youth rallies. He has also conducted mission work with the Port Antonio church of Christ in Port Antonio, Jamaica. Alex is married to Lisa and they have five children. The Brown family participates regularly in the Lads-to-Leaders program and Alex and his son participate in mission work with the Port Antonio church of Christ in Port Antonio, Jamaica.
Doctrinal Statement
To assist those who might worship with the Wagoner church of Christ, and or those who might seek a better understanding of the doctrinal stance of the preacher and what will be taught on various topics from this pulpit while I serve here, I have published my responses to a series of questions sent to me by another faithful brother in the church, regarding topics affecting the brotherhood. Please understand; these answers are mine and mine alone. I am not the "pastor" of this or any other congregation nor do I have sole Biblical authority as is practiced in the denominational world. This document reflects my knowledge and understanding of the Holy Scripture.
