God's Plan of Salvation
The most sacred covenant in this world or the next is the covenant relationship between God and the alien sinner. In Ephesians 1:3-12 the Apostle Paul told the church of Christ in Ephesus that Christ had "...predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself,..." (vs 4-5) and that in Christ we had the "forgiveness of sins." The method by which God saves a person from sin in detailed in the New Testament. And while many denominations teach many different man-made methods of salvation, there is truly only one. We at the Wagoner church of Christ challenge you to watch the videos presented below and study along in your own Bibles as the information is presented. After you have done so, we invite your feedback. we would love to take the time to study God's plan of salvation with you.
Hearing and Believing
"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:14, 17 NKJV
"Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,..." Acts 17:30 NKJV
Confession and Baptism
"Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized? ”Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Acts 8:36-38 NKJV
"And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Acts 16:30 NKJV
